Shiperd, ltd. ("Shiperd" or "we") provides shipping management software, and other related shipping tools and services. These offerings are provided by Shiperd through an Internet and mobile site (the "Site" and, together with any related software, Apps, tools and services provided in connection with the Site, the "Shiperd Service"). We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of information about our users and their organizations.

Shiperd is a provider of a cloud based shipping management software that’s simple, smart, and secure and gives business owners the ability to save cost, boost productivity and gain full visibility over their shipments life-cycle.
The Shiperd Service involves the storage of Data about a company or individual. That Data can include personal information. “Personal information” is information about an identifiable individual or a company, and may include information such as the individual’s or company’s name, email address, telephone number, bank account details, shipping activities information, and financial information.
Information about You.
Shiperd may collect personal information directly from You when You register to use the Shiperd Service, use the Shiperd Service, contact the Shiperd support team, and visit our Site.
These data includes: name, email and contact details.
You can always choose not to provide Your personal information to Shiperd, but it may mean that we are unable to provide You with the Shiperd Service.
Information about Others.
When you provide contact information for other people through use of our Service, you will need to submit other individual's personal email address. You must obtain the consent of other individuals prior to providing us with their personal information, as any access to view or modify their information will be available only through your account.
Automatically Collected information.
Finally, in order to provide the best possible service and to allow us to make certain internal reports and make recommendations, we collect aggregate information about the use of the Shiperd Service and/or the Site, such as internet protocol addresses, browser type, browser language, referring / exit pages and URLs, other browser history, platform type, number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages, the amount of time spent on particular pages, and the date and time.

Shiperd may use Your personal information so to provide You with the Shiperd Service and any related services You may request. In doing so, Shiperd may use the personal information we have collected from You for purposes related to the Shiperd Service and Site including to: (i) verify Your identity, (ii) administer the Shiperd Service and Site, (iii) notify You of new or changed services offered in relation to the Shiperd Service, (iv) carry out training relating to the Shiperd Service, (v) carry out marketing related to the Shiperd Service with your applicable consent, (vi) assist with the resolution of technical support issues or other issues relating to the Shiperd Service, (vii) comply with laws and regulations in applicable jurisdictions, and (vii) communicate with You.
By using the Shiperd Service, You consent that Your personal information being collected, held and used in this way and for any other use You authorise. Shiperd will only use Your personal information for the purposes described in this Policy or with Your applicable consent.
Shiperd may aggregate Your non-personally identifiable data. By using the Shiperd Service, You agree that Shiperd can access, aggregate and use non-personally identifiable data Shiperd has collected from You. This data will in no way identify You or any other individual. Shiperd may use this aggregated non-personally identifiable data to: (i) assist us to better understand how our customers are using the Shiperd Service, (ii) provide our customers with further information regarding the uses and benefits of the Shiperd Service, (iii) enhance small business productivity, including by creating useful business insights from that aggregated data and allowing You to benchmark Your business’ performance against that aggregated data, and (iv) otherwise to improve the Shiperd Service.

It is Your responsibility to keep Your password to the Shiperd Service safe. You should notify us as soon as possible if You become aware of any misuse of Your password, and immediately change your password within the Shiperd Service.
If You wish to exercise your rights or complain about how we have handled Your personal information, please provide full details of Your complaint or request and any supporting documentation in writing at: firstname.lastname@example.org with subject “For Data Protection Compliance Officer”.
To ensure that your personal information is protected, if we receive Your request to exercise any of above written rights, we will ask you to verify Your identity prior to acting on your request.
Cancellation of Your Account and Opt-out of any Email Communications
Additionally, Shiperd may send billing information, product information, Shiperd Service updates and other notifications to You via email. Our emails will contain clear and obvious instructions describing how You can choose to be removed from any mailing list not essential to the Shiperd Service. Shiperd will remove You at Your request.
Shiperd will process Your request as soon as reasonably practicable, provided we are not otherwise prevented from doing so on legal grounds. If we are unable to meet Your request, we will let you know why.
Shiperd will only disclose the personal information You have provided to us to entities outside the Shiperd if it is necessary and appropriate to facilitate the purpose for which Your personal information was collected pursuant to this Policy, including the provision of the Shiperd Service and in line with governing data processing agreement(s). Shiperd will not otherwise disclose Your personal information to a third party unless You have provided Your express consent. However, You should be aware that Shiperd may be required to disclose Your personal information without Your consent in order to comply with any court orders, subpoenas, or other legal process or investigation including by tax authorities, if such disclosure is required by law. Where possible and appropriate, we will notify You if we are required by law to disclose Your personal information.
Shiperd Ltd. will ensure the necessary level of protection for these disclosures and/or transfers and to occur in compliance with applicable laws and regulations through valid data processing agreement.
6. Transfer of Information
By providing any personal information to us, you fully understand and clearly consent to the transfer of such personal information to, and the collection and processing of such information in, other countries or territories. Any such transfer and processing by us will be in accordance with this privacy statement and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

We’ll only retain Your accurate, complete and up-to-date personal information for as long as we require it for the purposes of providing You with the Shiperd Service. However, we may also be required to keep some of Your personal information for specified periods of time for legal, business or tax purposes (for example to keep aggregated data, or under certain laws relating to corporations, money laundering, and financial reporting legislation).
Shiperd Ltd. employs a robust set of security technologies and practices, including encryption and access control features that exceed required security requirements. The security of your personal data is taken seriously and the most appropriate technical and organizational measures – which are being regularly reviewed - are employed including staff training and awareness.

While your personal information will be stored on our hosting providers’ servers, it will remain within Shiperd’s effective control at all times. Each data hosting provider’s role is limited to providing a hosting and storage service to Service, and we’ve taken steps to ensure that our data hosting providers do not have access to, and use the necessary level of protection for Your personal information. They do not control, and are not permitted to access or use your personal information, except for the limited purpose of storing the information. Shiperd takes steps to protect your personal information, and is committed to protecting the security of Your personal information, and we take all reasonable precautions to protect it from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Your personal information is stored on secure servers that have SSL Certificates issued by leading certificate authorities, and all Data transferred between You and the Shiperd Service is encrypted. However, the Internet is not in itself a secure environment and we cannot give an absolute assurance that Your information will be secure at all times. Transmission of personal information over the Internet is at Your own risk and You should only enter, or instruct the entering of, personal information to the Shiperd Service within a secure environment. Helping You to protect your information is a vital part of our mission. It is up to You to make sure You are comfortable with the information You choose to provide Us and the information You choose to post. Shiperd takes reasonable security measures to protect Your personal information to prevent loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Please be aware, however, that despite our efforts, no security measures are impenetrable. Shiperd shall not be liable in any and will not assume any responsibility with respect to any of the above happening.
In providing the Service, Shiperd utilises "cookies". A cookie is a small text file that is stored on Your computer for record-keeping purposes. A cookie does not identify You personally or contain any other information about You but it does identify Your computer.
We and some of our partners, affiliates and third-party service providers may use a combination of “persistent cookies” (cookies that remain on Your hard drive for an extended period of time) and “session ID cookies” (cookies that expire when You close Your browser) on the Shiperd Service to, for example, track overall site usage, and track and report on Your use and interaction with ad impressions and ad services.
You can set your browser to notify You when You receive a cookie so that You will have an opportunity to either accept or reject it in each instance. Please note however that if You delete or refuse to accept them, You might have negative impact on the functionality and usability of our Service or Site, such as not to be able to use all of the features we offer and our Service or Site might not display properly.

10. Children Under the Age of 13
Shiperd does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to use the Shiperd Service. If You are under 13 years of age, please do not attempt to access the Shiperd Service and do not send any information about Yourself to Shiperd. If Shiperd becomes aware that a child under the age of 13 has provided Us with personal information, We will delete such information from our files as quickly as possible.
